YSB PROGRAMS AVAILABLE TO YOUTH: (SCHOOL YEAR)

Service List

TN is an after school program that runs Monday-Thursday from 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. through out the SMCISD school year calendar. This program is voluntary and is open to youth ages 11-17 who are enrolled in school and who live the San Marcos and Hays County community. All youth must provide their own transportation to and from the program.

ACT is an after school program that runs during the week (specified days). This program is required of youth ages 11-17 who need to fulfill community service restitution (CSR) hours designated to them by the Juvenile Justice Court System. All youth must provide their own transportation to and from the program.

ACTIVE COMMUNITY TEEN PROGRM

(ACT)

YSB SUMMER PROGRAM

The YSB Summer program runs Mondays – Thursdays from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. through out the summer months of June, July, and August. This program is offered to our current YSB members ages 11-17 who are enrolled in either our Teen Network Program or our ACT Program. All youth must provide their own transportation to and from the program.

YSB PROGRAMS AVAILABLE TO ADULTS: (YEAR ROUND)

Fees: There are no charges or fees to parents/guardians, but we ask that parents/guardians come up with ways to help out such as providing snacks once a month or volunteering. Special events and / or outings may cost students fees, especially during our summer session. Parents/guardians must pick up their child everyday no later that 6:30 p.m.

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAM

(CSR)

The YSB CSR Program is open to individuals 18 and up who need to complete Community Service Restitution (CSR) Hours that have been assigned to them by a judge or court system. This program’s time is based on the Youth Service Bureau’s operation hours. These hours vary but run Monday through Friday year round. All individuals must show up at assigned times.
