Youth Service Bureau provides free year-round opportunities for youth ages 11-17. Since 1975, YSB’s primary focus has been to promote healthy development and habits in the youth of San Marcos. We believe that every child is worthwhile, capable, and deserving of positive attention, support, and acceptance. YSB provides opportunities for:

  • Volunteer work

  • Mentoring and tutoring from TXST students

  • A safe place to build positive socialization skills

  • Recreational activities such as physical activities, sports, and games that promote mental and physical well being

  • Workshops that discuss important topics such as violence prevention, alcohol/drug awareness, character education, and personal health and well-being
